ADOPT A NEEDY FAMILY FOR THE HOLIDAYS
Every year, Columbia County Women's Resource Center/The Starting Place shelter sponsors and organizes the Adopt A Family Project.
Last year with generous donations from community businesses, community partners and families, we were able to brighten the holidays for over 230 people throughout Columbia County. These familes received gifts of food, clothing, winter coats, toys, and Christmas trees for families.
We are gearing up again this year and we need host families and community partners to give of their time and make donations of gifts and food for families in shelter and others in the community who need our help.
